Influence Rewards & Unlocks
As your influence with a companion grows, you'll unlock several valuable rewards and story elements. The most significant reward is often the deepening of your relationship with them, leading to more personal dialogue, insights into their past, and potentially even romance options. These interactions enrich the narrative and make your companions feel more like true allies rather than just tools.
Beyond narrative benefits, high influence can also unlock unique combat abilities or Force powers that are specific to that companion. For instance, a companion with high influence might teach you a new combat technique or a powerful Force power that complements your own abilities. In some cases, a companion's personal quest, when completed with high influence, can lead to a permanent stat boost or a unique piece of equipment. Conversely, low influence can lead to companions becoming less effective in combat, refusing to follow certain orders, or even abandoning your party, representing a significant loss of potential.
