Post-Game Content
Congratulations, Jedi! You've completed Cal Kestis's journey and faced the perils of the Empire. But the adventure doesn't end with the credits. Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order offers a wealth of post-game content, allowing you to fully explore the galaxy, uncover every secret, and truly master your Force abilities. This section will guide you through maximizing your post-game experience.
100% Completion: The Explorer's Path
The primary objective for many after finishing the main story is to achieve 100% completion across all planets. This involves finding every Chest, Secret, and Force Echo, as well as scanning all enemies and databank entries. Your Holomap will be your best friend here, indicating areas with uncollected items.
Planetary Cleanup Strategy
We recommend tackling planets one by one to avoid getting overwhelmed. Prioritize planets where you've unlocked all traversal abilities (Wall Run, Force Pull, Force Push, Double Jump, Underwater Breathing). Bogano, for instance, is a great starting point due to its smaller size and relatively straightforward layout.
- Bogano:
- Hermit's Abode: Double-check the upper ledges accessible via Wall Run for any missed Chests containing Lightsaber parts.
- Subterranean Refuge: Utilize Force Pull to access hidden areas with Secrets, often containing valuable Skill Points.
- Abandoned Workshop: Ensure you've found the final Lightsaber customization options here.
- Zeffo: This planet is a labyrinth. Expect multiple revisits.
- Ice Caves & Windswept Ruins: Many areas require Force Push to clear debris or open pathways to Secrets and Chests. Look for breakable walls.
- Imperial Dig Site: Be thorough in scanning all Imperial enemy types, especially the various Purge Troopers, to complete your Tactical Guide.
- Tomb of Miktrull: Re-explore thoroughly, as new pathways may have opened with late-game abilities. There are often hidden Force Echoes tucked away in alcoves.
- Kashyyyk: Verticality is key here.
- Origin Tree: Use your Double Jump and Wall Run extensively to reach high platforms and vine-covered areas. Many Chests are cleverly hidden off the main path.
- Shadowlands: Be prepared for challenging encounters with local fauna. Ensure all creatures, including the fearsome Wyyyschokk, have been scanned.
- Imperial Refinery: Look for areas where you can use Force Pull on grates or Force Push on machinery to reveal new routes.
- Dathomir: The most dangerous planet, but also rich in rewards.
- Brother's Bastion: Several Chests and Secrets are located in areas requiring precise platforming or combat against Nightbrothers.
- Gorgara's Grotto: After defeating Gorgara, ensure you've explored every nook and cranny of its lair for any lingering collectibles.
- Swamp of Sacrifice: Be wary of the Oggdo Bogdo. There's a particularly tricky Chest near the perimeter that requires careful navigation.
Combat Challenges: Legendary Beasts & Bounty Hunters
Beyond collecting, the post-game offers opportunities to test your combat prowess against formidable foes you might have missed or found too challenging earlier.
Legendary Beasts
There are several Legendary Beasts scattered across the galaxy, offering unique combat encounters and valuable experience. Defeating them all is a significant achievement.
- Oggdo Bogdo (Bogano - Bogdo Sinkholes): A giant, aggressive toad-like creature. Use Force Slow to get behind it and attack its vulnerable back.
- Rabid Jotaz (Zeffo - Broken Wing): A massive, armored beast. Focus on parrying its heavy attacks and using Force Push to stagger it.
- Albino Wyyyschokk (Kashyyyk - Kyyyalak Cascade): A giant white spider. Use your Lightsaber throw to hit it from a distance and avoid its web attacks.
- Gorgara (Dathomir - Gorgara's Grotto): A flying beast. This is a multi-phase fight. Utilize Force Pull to ground it and exploit its landing opportunities.
- Nydak Alpha (Dathomir - Strangled Cliffs): A more powerful version of the Nydak. Its attacks are faster and hit harder. Master your parry timing.
Bounty Hunters
After a certain point in the story, you'll start encountering Bounty Hunters. In the post-game, these encounters become more frequent and challenging. They often appear randomly on planets you revisit, sometimes in groups. Be prepared for varied enemy types, including Haxion Brood Commandos and various droid models. Defeating them rewards you with experience and credits.
- Strategy: Bounty Hunters often have unique attack patterns. Focus on isolating them if they appear in groups. Use Force abilities like Push and Pull to disrupt their attacks and create openings.
- Bounty Hunter Lair: If you haven't already, ensure you've fully explored the Bounty Hunter Lair on Zeffo, accessible after certain story events. This area contains several challenging encounters and unique collectibles.
New Game+ (Journey+ Mode)
Once you've completed the main story, you unlock Journey+ Mode. This allows you to start a new game while retaining all your collected cosmetics (Lightsaber parts, Ponchos, Mantis paint jobs, BD-1 skins) and unlocked Lightsaber colors (excluding the default blue/green/orange/purple, which are unlocked through story progression). You will, however, lose all your Force abilities, Skill Points, and Health/Force upgrades, requiring you to re-earn them. This is perfect for players who want to experience the story again with their favorite aesthetic customizations or tackle higher difficulties from the start.
- Benefits:
- Retain all cosmetic items.
- Start with all Lightsaber colors unlocked (except story-gated ones).
- Opportunity to replay the story on a harder difficulty.
- Ideal for speedrunning or trying out different combat approaches.
By following these steps, you'll ensure you've squeezed every last drop of adventure from Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, becoming a true Jedi Master of exploration and combat.
