Armor provides crucial damage reduction and defense. It comes in light, medium, and heavy varieties. Jedi, however, cannot wear most armor without disabling their Force powers, so they rely on robes. Non-Jedi companions should be equipped with the heaviest armor they can wear. Energy Shields provide temporary damage absorption and are invaluable in tough fights. Always keep a supply of shields for your party.
