Jedi Guardian

Role: Front-line melee combatant.

Focus: Excels in lightsaber combat and physical prowess. Guardians are desed to be durable and powerful in close-quarters engagements.

Key Attributes: Strength (for melee damage), Constitution (for Hit Points).

Strengths: High melee damage output, good survivability, effective with lightsabers.

Weaknesses: Less emphasis on Force powers and technical skills compared to other classes.

Feat Recommendations: Weapon Specialization (Lightsaber), Flurry Line, Power Attack Line, Dueling (if using a single lightsaber).

Jedi Sentinel

Role: Balanced Force-user and combatant.

Focus: Offers a versatile blend of lightsaber combat and Force powers. Sentinels are adaptable and can handle several situations.

Key Attributes: Strength/Dexterity (for combat), Wisdom (for Force powers), Charisma (for Force power attack bonus and dialogue).

Strengths: Versatile in both combat and Force abilities, good balance of offense and defense.

Weaknesses: May not reach the same peak specialization in combat or Force powers as Guardians or Consulars, respectively.

Feat Recommendations: A mix of combat feats (e.g., Precise Shot, Two-Weapon Fighting) and Force feats (e.g., Force Focus, Force Speed).

Jedi Consular

Role: Master of Force powers and support.

Focus: Primarily a Force-user, specializing in powerful Force powers for offense, defense, and utility. Consulars are the primary spellcasters of the Jedi classes.

Key Attributes: Wisdom (for Force power effectiveness and attack bonus), Charisma (for Force power attack bonus and dialogue), Intelligence (for additional skill points).

Strengths: Devastating Force powers, strong crowd control, excellent support capabilities.

Weaknesses: Lower Hit Points and less proficient in direct melee or ranged combat compared to other classes.

Feat Recommendations: Force Power Line, Force Mastery, Force Speed, Force Immunity, and relevant Force power-enhancing feats.

Choosing Your Class

Your class choice is one of the most sificant decisions you'll make. Consider your preferred playstyle:

  • If you enjoy being in the thick of combat, wielding a lightsaber with devastating force, choose the Jedi Guardian.
  • If you prefer a flexible approach, able to adapt to different combat scenarios with both weapons and the Force, the Jedi Sentinel is an excellent choice.
