Efficient mining and combat in Stardew Valley involve understanding item collections and artifact donations. These activities are key to acquiring valuable resources like Cinder Shards and Radioactive Ore, and unlocking useful tools and abilities.
Collections
The Collections tab helps track various items, including those found through mining and combat. This includes:
- Cinder Shard
- Magma Cap
- Bone Fragment
- Radioactive Ore
- Radioactive Bar
Artifact Donations and Rewards
Donating artifacts to the Museum provides valuable rewards that can aid in mining and combat:
- Donating the Ancient Drum (with at least 2 other artifacts) rewards a Drum Block.
- Donating an Ancient Seed rewards an Ancient Seed crafting recipe and 1 Ancient Seeds pack, which can be planted to harvest Ancient Fruit.
- Donating the Bone Flute (with at least 2 other artifacts) rewards a Flute Block.
- Donating the Chicken Statue (with at least 4 other artifacts) rewards a Chicken Statue furniture item.
- Donating all four Dwarf Scrolls unlocks the Dwarvish Translation Guide, allowing communication with the Dwarf merchant in the Mines and Volcano Dungeon.
- Donating prehistoric bone pieces rewards Sloth Skeleton furniture pieces.
- Donating the Rare Disc and Dwarf Gadget (with at least 9 other artifacts) rewards the 'Burnt Offering' painting.
