The Hunter is a recurring antagonist throughout the main quest, a powerful Starborn with access to various powers and advanced weaponry. Your final confrontation with him is a multi-stage battle.

Abilities & Attacks:
- Starborn Powers: Uses Anti-Gravity Field, Parallel Self, Personal Atmosphere, and other powers to disorient and damage you.
- Advanced Weapons: Wields powerful particle beam weapons and ballistic rifles.
- Teleportation: Frequently teleports around the arena, making him hard to pin down.
- Summoned Allies: May summon copies of himself or other enemies.
Strategy:
- Utilize Cover: The Hunter's attacks are devastating. Always stay behind cover and only expose yourself to fire.
- Boost Pack Maneuvers: Use your boost pack to quickly reposition, evade his powers, and gain high ground.
- Focus Fire: Concentrate your most powerful weapons on him. Particle beam weapons are generally effective.
- Use Your Own Powers: Don't forget your Starborn powers! Anti-Gravity Field can lift him, making him an easy target. Personal Atmosphere can give you breathing room.
- Manage Companions: Ensure your companion is well-equipped and use their abilities. They can draw aggro.
- Healing: Keep plenty of Med Packs and Trauma Packs on hand.
Weaknesses:
No specific elemental weakness, but susceptible to sustained damage. His teleportation can be predictable once you learn his patterns.
