JP's first phase introduces his unique psycho power abilities, including projectiles, teleportation, and summoning clones. He is a tricky zoner and mix-up character.

Strategy:

  • Manage Projectiles: JP will use various psycho power projectiles. Learn their patterns and either parry them, jump over them, or use your own projectiles to negate them.
  • Watch for Teleports: He frequently teleports, often for cross-ups or to get behind you. Be ready to block in the correct direction or use an invincible reversal.
  • Punish Clones: When he summons clones, focus on hitting the real JP. The clones can be destroyed but often serve as distractions.
