Playstyle: Aggressive Mix-up/Setplay
Juri is a highly aggressive character with unique Fuhajin charges that power up her special moves. She excels at creating tricky mix-ups and maintaining relentless pressure.
Key Moves:
- Fuhajin (Quarter-Circle Back + Kick): Stores a 'stock' that enhances her other special moves.
- Tensenrin (Forward, Down, Down-Forward + Punch): An upward-kicking anti-air.
- Saihasho (Quarter-Circle Forward + Punch): A fast, forward-moving kick.
- Ryodansatsu (Quarter-Circle Forward + Kick): A dive kick that can be performed from the air.
Strategy:
Juri's game revolves around building Fuhajin stocks and then unleashing enhanced versions of her special moves. Use her fast normals and Ryodansatsu to get in and apply pressure. Her Fuhajin-enhanced moves create unique block strings and mix-up opportunities. She has excellent mobility and can be very difficult to defend against once she gets her offense going. Managing her Fuhajin stocks is key to maximizing her damage and pressure.
