How to Unlock Alternate Costumes:
- Arcade Mode Completion: Some alternate costumes can be unlocked by completing Arcade Mode with a specific character on certain difficulty settings or under particular conditions.
- DLC Purchases: The majority of alternate costumes were released as downloadable content (DLC) packs. These packs often included multiple costumes for various characters and could be purchased from the respective platform's online store (e.g., PlayStation Store, Xbox Marketplace).
- Special Events/Promotions: In some rare cases, certain costumes might have been available through limited-time events or promotional offers.
