Titles and Icons are cosmetic items that allow you to personalize your online profile, visible to other players in lobbies and during match loading screens. While they offer no gameplay advantage, they serve as a way to express your personality, showcase your achievements, or simply add a touch of flair to your presence in the Street Fighter IV community.
How to Unlock Titles & Icons:
- Character Specific: Many titles and icons are unlocked by completing Arcade Mode with a specific character, reaching certain milestones with them (e.g., winning X matches), or completing their Combo Trials.
- General Achievements: Some are tied to broader game achievements, such as winning a certain number of online matches, performing a specific number of Ultra Combos, or playing for a cumulative amount of time.
- Challenge Mode: Completing various challenges in Challenge Mode (Combo Trials, Survival) will often reward you with unique titles and icons.
- DLC: Some titles and icons were also available as part of downloadable content packs.
You can customize your chosen Title and Icon in the 'Player Data' section of the main menu. Experiment with different combinations to create a unique online identity.
