Hidden throughout various stages of Streets of Rage 4 are retro arcade cabinets. Interacting with these cabinets will transform your character into their pixelated, retro counterpart from previous Streets of Rage games. This not only changes their appearance but also their move set, often replicating their classic abilities. Finding all of these cabinets is a fun collectible challenge and a great nod to the series' history. There are 12 cabinets in total, one per stage. Some are in plain sight, while others require you to break specific environmental objects or take a less obvious path. Activating a cabinet also grants you a small score bonus. Experiment with the retro characters; while they might lack some of the modern game's fluidity, their classic moves can be surprisingly effective against certain enemy types. Collecting all of them is a rewarding experience for fans.
