Scamper Shores is your starting point in Lake Lapcat. Here, you'll find your first few Cat Shines. Look for the 'Five Cat Shine Shards' to form a complete Cat Shine. Another is obtained by 'Pouncing on the Goombas'. A third is found by 'Collecting the Blue Coins' within a time limit. Explore thoroughly, as many Shines are hidden or require simple platforming. This area serves as a great introduction to the open-world mechanics.
