Green Star 1: The Fiery Foe

1. Starting Point: From the very beginning of the level, proceed forward. You'll immediately encounter a few Goombas.
2. First Fire Bro Encounter: Continue along the main path. You will soon come across a raised platform with a single Fire Bro patrolling it. This Fire Bro is distinguishable by its slightly more aggressive behavior and its position on a central, slightly elevated platform.
3. Strategy: Equip your Fire Flower. Stand at a safe distance and launch fireballs at the Fire Bro until it is defeated. A few well-aimed shots should do the trick.
4. Collection: Once the specific Fire Bro is defeated, the First Green Star will appear directly on the platform where it was standing. Jump up and collect it.

Stamp: The High Ledge

1. After Green Star 1: Continue past the area where you found the first Green Star. You'll cross a small bridge over some lava.
2. Identifying the Ledge: Look to your right. You'll see a tall, narrow wall or pillar with a small, flat ledge at the very top. The Stamp is clearly visible on this ledge.
3. Accessing the Ledge (Cat Suit Recommended):
   • With Cat Suit: Run up the wall directly below the Stamp. Once you reach the top, simply walk over and collect the Stamp.
   • Without Cat Suit: This is trickier. You'll need to perform a precise wall jump. Jump towards the wall, then quickly jump again off the wall to gain extra height, aiming for the ledge. This might take a few tries. Alternatively, if there's a nearby block or enemy you can bounce off, use that for extra height.

Green Star 2: The Secret Pipe

1. After the Stamp: Continue moving through the level. You'll pass a series of moving platforms and encounter more Fire Bros.
2. Locating the Hidden Pipe: After navigating a section with several rotating platforms over lava, you will reach a more stable platform. Look carefully at the back wall, specifically to the right side of this platform. There will be a seemingly ordinary wall section.
3. Revealing the Pipe: Walk up to this section of the wall and jump. You will discover a hidden Green Pipe that was previously camouflaged.
4. Entering the Secret Area: Enter the Green Pipe. This will transport you to a small, enclosed room.

1. After Green Star 2: Proceed further into the level. You will soon come to a section with a series of narrow, moving platforms that traverse over a large pool of lava. This is often near the end of the level, just before the final ascent to the Goal Pole.
2. Identifying the Challenge: The Third Green Star is located at the very end of this challenging platforming sequence, often requiring you to jump across several small, fast-moving platforms. It might be slightly off the direct path, requiring a small detour or a precise jump.
3. Strategy:
   • Patience is Key: Do not rush. Observe the pattern of the moving platforms before attempting your jumps.
   • Precise Jumps: Time your jumps carefully. A running jump is often necessary to clear the gaps.
   • Utilize Wall Jumps: If there are walls nearby, use wall jumps to recover from a misstep or gain extra height.
   • Cat Suit Advantage: If you have the Cat Suit, it can provide an extra layer of safety, allowing you to cling to walls if you undershoot a jump.
4. Collection: Once you successfully navigate the platforming section, the Third Green Star will be waiting for you. Collect it and then proceed to the Goal Pole.

Enemy Strategies & Tips

• Fire Bros: These enemies throw fireballs. The best strategy is to use your own Fire Flower to defeat them from a distance. If you don't have one, wait for them to throw a fireball, then jump over it and stomp on their head.
• Piranha Plants: Standard Piranha Plants can be defeated with a stomp, fireball, or by hitting the block they are in.
• Goombas: Easily defeated with a stomp or any power-up attack.
