To liberate the Power Star, your primary task is to break this tether. The method for achieving this is direct and requires a specific maneuver: the Ground Pound. You must execute a Ground Pound on the stake holding Chain Chomp three times. Each successful Ground Pound will weaken the stake. Upon landing the third Ground Pound, the stake will shatter, freeing the Chain Chomp. Once unleashed, the Chain Chomp will rampage, its wild movements leading it to destroy the gate that previously blocked your path. With the gate demolished, you can then freely claim the Power Star that was hidden behind it.
This particular star presents a test of timing and execution. It's important to approach the stake with confidence and ensure each Ground Pound connects effectively.
