Star 2: Li'l Penguin Lost
Find the lost baby penguin near the top of the mountain. Pick it up (B button) and carry it all the way down to its mother, who is waiting at the bottom of the mountain, near the start. Be careful not to drop the penguin off a cliff or into the water, as you'll have to go back and get it again. Successfully returning the baby penguin to its mother will reward Mario with a Power Star. This mission tests Mario's ability to navigate treacherous terrain while protecting a fragile cargo. The icy slopes of the mountain present numerous hazards, including slippery surfaces and potential falls. Players must carefully maneuver Mario, ensuring the little penguin remains safe. Dropping the penguin will cause it to slide away, requiring Mario to retrieve it once more. The journey down is just as perilous as the climb up, demanding constant vigilance. Reaching the mother penguin at the base of the mountain sifies the successful completion of this heartwarming rescue mission and the acquisition of the coveted Power Star.
