The most effective method is to execute a Long Jump or a dive off the edge of the fortress, carefully aiming your trajectory to land within the confines of the caged island. This requires careful positioning and a good understanding of Mario's aerial control. Misjudging the distance or angle will result in falling off the fortress and likely losing a life. Success hinges on precise aiming and timing your jump or dive to ensure a safe landing on the small platform. Once inside the cage, the Power Star is yours for the taking.
