Recommended Character: Any, but Peach or Luigi can make the boss fight easier. This stage culminates in a boss battle against a larger, more aggressive Birdo. The path to Birdo involves some standard desert platforming and avoiding Beezos. Once you reach Birdo, the strategy remains the same: pick up her eggs and throw them back at her. This Birdo requires five hits to defeat. If she shoots fireballs instead of eggs, you'll need to wait for her to switch back to eggs. Sometimes, a POW Block can be found nearby, which can be used to stun her or clear other enemies. After defeating Birdo, proceed through the door to complete World 2.
