Recommended Character: Toad or Mario. This stage is a long, winding path through a fortress-like environment, filled with many enemies and traps. Toad's quick pulling and throwing power can be very effective for clearing paths. You'll encounter all types of enemies, including Phantos if keys are present, and Autobombs. There are often sections with falling blocks, moving platforms, and even some dark areas. The stage is designed to wear down your health and lives before the final boss. Conserve your health, use enemies as projectiles strategically, and don't be afraid to retreat if a situation is too dangerous. The exit leads directly to the final boss chamber.
