Warp Whistles
  • Warp Whistle 1 (World 1-2): As Raccoon Mario, in the underground section, fly up through a small gap in the ceiling near the beginning. Duck on the white block in the secret room to fall into another secret room containing the whistle. This whistle can take you to World 2, 3, or 4.
  • Warp Whistle 2 (World 1 Fortress): After defeating Boom Boom in the World 1 Fortress, instead of exiting through the door, use Raccoon Mario to fly up and over the ceiling of the boss room. Walk right along the top of the screen to find a hidden room with the second whistle. This whistle can also take you to World 2, 3, or 4.
  • Warp Whistle 3 (World 2 Hammer Bros.): On the World 2 map, there's a Hammer Bros. battle that roams around. Defeat this Hammer Bros. to receive the third Warp Whistle as a reward. This whistle can take you to World 5, 6, 7, or 8.

Using two Warp Whistles in a row (e.g., using one to go to World 8, then immediately using another) will take you directly to World 8, regardless of where the first whistle took you. This is the fastest way to reach the final world.
