Welcome to your first castle! These levels are characterized by fire bars, Podoboos (lava jumps), and Bowser's minions. Navigate carefully through the rotating fire bars, timing your movements to pass safely. You'll encounter a few Hammer Bros. in this castle; they are best dealt with using fireballs if you have them, or by carefully jumping over them. The final room contains a fake Bowser. If you have Fire Mario, you can defeat him with fireballs. Otherwise, you must run past him and jump over him to reach the axe, which will destroy the bridge and send him into the lava. Remember, the princess is always in another castle!
