Choco Island 1 introduces the treacherous chocolate mud, which acts similarly to the mud in Donut Plains but covers larger sections of the track. Avoiding these muddy patches is paramount. The track also features small, raised bumps that can cause your kart to hop; use the X button to control these hops and maintain stability. There are several tight S-curves that require precise power sliding. Consider using a lightweight character for better handling, or a heavyweight if you can master the wider turns. Mushrooms are excellent for boosting over the mud. Pay attention to the mini-map to plan your route through the less muddy sections. This track is a test of your ability to navigate difficult terrain.
