The final showdown! Wario awaits in the deepest part of his castle. He has three distinct forms, each requiring a different strategy to defeat. You need to hit him a total of 9 times across all forms.
Phase 1: Regular Wario (3 Hits)
- Attacks: Jumps around, occasionally charges horizontally.
- Weakness: Head.
- Strategy: Jump on his head three times. He's agile, so time your jumps carefully. Superballs work well here for safer hits.
Phase 2: Bunny Wario (3 Hits)
- Attacks: Eats a Carrot, gains float ability, floats around, swoops down.
- Weakness: Head.
- Strategy: Jump on his head three more times. If you have Bunny Mario, you can match his aerial mobility. Superballs are still effective. Use your float to position yourself for stomps or to dodge his swoops.
Phase 3: Fire Wario (3 Hits)
- Attacks: Eats a Superball Flower, shoots Superballs while jumping and moving.
- Weakness: Head.
- Strategy: This is the most challenging phase. Prioritize dodging his Superballs. Jump on his head three final times. If you have a Superball Flower, you can engage in a Superball duel, but stomping is often more reliable. Bunny Mario's float is excellent for dodging his projectiles and landing on his head. Try to get a hit in whenever he lands or pauses briefly.
Recommended Power-up:
Bunny Mario (Carrot): Highly recommended for all phases, especially the last two. The float ability provides superior dodging and precise landing for stomps. Superball Flower: Excellent for dealing damage from a distance in all phases, making the fight safer. If you have both, try to keep Bunny Mario for the mobility and use Superballs when safe.
