Many levels contain hidden blocks that can reveal coins, Super Mushrooms, or even rare power-ups like the Superball Flower or Carrot. Always be on the lookout for suspicious areas:

- Suspicious Gaps: If there's a gap in the ceiling or an empty space above a platform, try jumping there.
- Single Blocks: Sometimes a lone, ordinary-looking block might contain a hidden item.
- Walls: Occasionally, a section of a wall can be jumped through to reveal a hidden area or power-up.
- Revisiting Areas: If you're Small Mario, hitting a block might only reveal a coin. If you return as Super Mario, that same block might now contain a Superball Flower or Carrot.
Exploration is Key: Don't just rush through levels. Take your time to jump in every suspicious spot, especially in areas where you're struggling or need a specific power-up. Many of the most useful power-ups are found in these hidden locations.
