This introductory level is fairly straightforward. You'll encounter Goombas (called 'Chibibos' in this game) and Koopa Troopas. Focus on collecting coins and getting a feel for Mario's jump. There are several hidden blocks containing Super Mushrooms. Look for suspicious-looking single blocks or areas where you can jump high. Towards the end, you'll find a pipe leading to a bonus room with extra coins if you're quick. The goal is a standard flagpole. Try to hit the very top for extra points and a chance at the bonus game.
Key Items: Super Mushrooms are plentiful. Keep an eye out for a hidden Superball Flower in a block above a small pit near the middle of the level. This will be useful for clearing enemies from a distance. Practice using the Superball to hit enemies on different elevations.
