The final showdown! Wario awaits in the deepest part of his castle. He has three distinct forms, each requiring a different strategy to defeat. You need to hit him a total of 9 times across all forms.
Phase 1: Regular Wario
Wario will jump around and occasionally charge at Mario. To defeat him, jump on his head three times. He's quite agile, so time your jumps carefully. If you have a Superball Flower, you can hit him from a distance, which is safer.
Phase 2: Bunny Wario
After three hits, Wario will eat a Carrot and transform into Bunny Wario. He gains the ability to float, similar to Mario. He'll float around the screen, occasionally swooping down. Jump on his head three more times. This phase is easier if you also have Bunny Mario, as you can match his aerial mobility. Superballs are still effective.
Phase 3: Fire Wario
After three more hits, Wario will eat a Superball Flower and transform into Fire Wario. He will now shoot Superballs at Mario while jumping around. This is the most challenging phase. You need to jump on his head three final times. Prioritize dodging his Superballs. If you have a Superball Flower yourself, you can engage in a Superball duel, but stomping is often more reliable. Bunny Mario's float is excellent for dodging his projectiles and landing on his head.
Victory: After defeating all three forms, Wario will be defeated, and Mario's Castle will be reclaimed! Congratulations, you've beaten Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins!
