Hiyoihoi is the boss of the Easton Kingdom, found at the end of World 3-3. This boss is a large Moai statue that throws smaller Moai heads at Mario. This battle takes place on a series of platforms, with the boss positioned on a higher ledge.

Phases & Attacks:
- Moai Head Throw: Hiyoihoi will continuously throw small Moai heads downwards. These heads bounce along the ground.
- Stationary: Hiyoihoi remains stationary on its perch.
Strategy:
- Recommended Power-up: Superball Mario is almost essential for this fight. Super Mario will find this battle extremely difficult.
- Attack Pattern: Hiyoihoi will keep throwing Moai heads. Your goal is to hit Hiyoihoi's main body.
- Superball Strategy: Position yourself on the lower platforms. You need to shoot Superballs upwards so they bounce off the ceiling and hit Hiyoihoi. This requires precise aiming and timing. It takes 5 hits to defeat him. You can also try to jump and shoot Superballs directly if you're on a higher platform, but the bouncing method is generally safer.
- Stomp Strategy (if no Superball): If you are Super Mario, you cannot directly stomp Hiyoihoi as he is too high. You would need to use the thrown Moai heads as stepping stones to reach him, which is incredibly difficult and risky. This fight is designed to strongly encourage the use of Superballs.
- Dodging: The thrown Moai heads bounce predictably. Jump over them to avoid damage.
Hiyoihoi is a significant challenge if you don't have the Superball Flower. Focus on mastering the Superball's bouncing trajectory to hit him from below. This fight truly tests your ability to utilize the Superball's unique properties.
