You'll start by navigating a series of platforms, many of which are over bottomless pits or sandy areas. The Moai statues are a constant threat, spitting projectiles that you must dodge or destroy. If you have the Super Ball Flower, this is an excellent time to use it to clear a path and take out enemies from a distance. If you're Super Mario, try to break any blocks you can reach from below for potential power-ups.
The sandy terrain returns, which can impede your movement. Be cautious of the Sand Diggers that emerge from the ground. The bouncy mushrooms are also present, often in tricky locations that require precise control to utilize effectively. Mastering these bounces is crucial for reaching higher platforms and avoiding hazards.
As you progress, you'll encounter more complex platforming sections with moving platforms and disappearing blocks. The timing of your jumps is paramount. The Flyer Guys also make an appearance, adding an aerial threat to the mix. If you're struggling with the platforming, the Shrink Flower can be invaluable, allowing for smaller, more controlled jumps and the ability to fit through tighter spaces.
