Location: Water Plaza Interior (Lake Kingdom), Shiveria (Snow Kingdom)
Phase 1: Rango attacks by throwing his spiked hat. Dodge the hat. When he's vulnerable (hatless), jump on his head. He'll be stunned.
Phase 2: He'll throw multiple hats and try to stomp on you. The strategy is the same: dodge the hats, then jump on his head. In the Snow Kingdom rematch, he'll be faster and might summon ice blocks. Break them with Cappy if they impede your movement.
Phase 3: Even faster and more aggressive. Continue dodging and jumping on his head. Three hits will defeat him. The Snow Kingdom rematch is tougher due to increased speed and environmental hazards.
