Uncle amiibo is a character found in each kingdom who allows you to scan amiibo figures. Scanning certain amiibo (like the Mario, Peach, and Bowser wedding amiibo) will grant you special outfits. Other amiibo can provide temporary invincibility, extra coins, or reveal the location of Power Moons. The 8-bit Mario amiibo, for example, grants temporary invincibility.
