Beyond the obvious, many 1-Up Mushrooms are cleverly hidden. Look for them behind waterfalls, under docks, or in obscure corners of levels. Sometimes, defeating a specific sequence of enemies or spraying a particular object will reveal one. Always keep an eye out for suspicious glints or sounds that might indicate a hidden item.
