Bianco Hills

100 Yellow Coins

  • Episode 1: Road to the Big Windmill
    • Initial Area: Collect coins from the path leading to the village. Don't miss the coins hidden behind the first few houses.
    • Village Square: Spray the M Graffiti on the walls and ground for a quick influx of coins. Defeat any Goombas or Piantas for additional drops.
    • River Section: Follow the river upstream, collecting coins along the banks and in the water. Use the Hover Nozzle to safely navigate.
    • Windmill Base: Clear the area around the base of the large windmill. There are several coin clusters here.
    • Secret: A hidden block containing several coins can be found by spraying a specific spot on the ground near the bridge leading to the windmill. Look for a faint outline.
  • Episode 2: Down with Petey Piranha!
    • Petey's Arena: While battling Petey Piranha, coins will often appear as he attacks or when you spray him. Collect these carefully.
    • Surrounding Area: Before engaging Petey, ensure you've swept the entire area for coins, including those on the elevated platforms.

Blue Coins

Bianco Hills contains 30 Blue Coins. Many are hidden behind graffiti, inside specific objects, or awarded for completing mini-tasks.

  • Graffiti Locations:
    • M Graffiti: There are numerous "M" graffiti tags scattered throughout the village and along the river. Spray them with water until they disappear to reveal a Blue Coin.
    • Shadow Mario Graffiti: In later episodes, Shadow Mario will paint large graffiti patterns. Fully clean these to earn a Blue Coin. One prominent example is on the wall of the large windmill.
  • Basket Toss: Near the start of Bianco Hills, you'll find a Pianta next to a basket. Talk to him, then pick up a nearby fruit and throw it into the basket. Successfully landing three fruits will reward you with a Blue Coin.
  • Underwater: Dive into the river and explore the deeper sections. Several Blue Coins are submerged, often near ledges or under bridges.
  • Windmill Blades: In episodes where the large windmill is active, carefully jump onto its rotating blades. A Blue Coin can be found on one of the blades. Use the Hover Nozzle for precision.
