Objective: Reach the Goal Post (Normal Exit) and find the Secret Exit.
- Begin by heading right. You'll immediately notice the darker, cavernous environment. Watch out for Swoopers (bats) that fly down from the ceiling.
- The first Dragon Coin is above a small pit, requiring a precise jump.
- You'll encounter a series of blocks. One of them contains a Cape Feather, which is highly recommended for this level.
- The second Dragon Coin is located above a moving platform.
- Secret Exit: After the second Dragon Coin, you'll come to a section with a P-Switch. Hit the P-Switch, then quickly run to the right. A block will have turned into coins, revealing a hidden key and keyhole. Enter the keyhole to unlock the Vanilla Secret 1 level.
- If you're going for the normal exit, continue past the P-Switch. The third Dragon Coin is above a series of blocks.
- You'll encounter more Swoopers and some Koopa Troopas. The fourth Dragon Coin is above a small gap.
- The fifth Dragon Coin is just before the normal Goal Post.
- Hit the normal Goal Post to complete the level.
Reward for Secret Exit: Unlocks Vanilla Secret 1, a bonus level.
