·Multi-source verified (36/36)

The final boss encounter in Classic Mode depends on your Intensity level. If your Intensity is 5.9 or lower, you will face Master Hand. If your Intensity is 6.0 or higher, you will face both Master Hand and Crazy Hand simultaneously. At Intensity 8.0 or higher, you'll also encounter the terrifying Master Core.

Master Hand Strategy

Master Hand has several predictable attacks. Focus on dodging his slams, finger lasers, and grab attacks. His weak point is his palm, especially after he performs a ground slam. Use powerful smash attacks when he's vulnerable. Stay mobile and avoid being cornered.

Crazy Hand Strategy

Crazy Hand is more erratic and aggressive than Master Hand. He often uses sweeping attacks, finger flicks, and a dangerous drill attack. When fighting both, try to separate them if possible, or focus your attacks on one at a time. Crazy Hand's attacks often leave him open for a brief counter-attack.

Master Core Strategy (Intensity 8.0+)

Master Core is a multi-phase boss. After defeating Master Hand and Crazy Hand, Master Core will emerge. He transforms into several forms:

  1. Master Giant: A large, slow-moving form. Attack his head.
  2. Master Beast: A four-legged creature. Target his body, avoiding his charges.
  3. Master Shadow: Copies of your character. Treat these as regular opponents.
  4. Master Fortress: A sprawling stage-like entity. Destroy the glowing cores within it.
  5. Master Core (Final Form): A small, vulnerable core. Unleash your strongest attacks to finish him.

Surviving Master Core requires adaptability and careful dodging. Each form has distinct attack patterns. Successfully completing Classic Mode, especially at higher intensities, unlocks characters, custom moves, and trophies.
