Completing these milestones not only provides a sense of accomplishment but also unlocks valuable in-game resources, Spirits, Mii Fighter Outfits, and even new stages!

Use this guide to strategically tackle milestones, prioritize rewards, and ensure you don't miss any hidden gems. We've broken down the milestones into categories for easier navigation, along with specific strategies and locations where applicable.

Fighter-Specific Milestones

Many milestones are tied to individual fighters, encouraging players to experiment with the entire roster. These often involve achieving a certain number of KOs, winning matches, or using specific moves.

  • First Victory with Each Fighter: Win a single match with every character on the roster. This includes all initial fighters and any unlocked characters.
    • Reward: 500 Gold, "New Challenger" Spirit (random).
    • Strategy: Play through Classic Mode with each character, as this guarantees a win and helps you learn their moveset.
  • 100 KOs with [Fighter Name]: Accumulate 100 KOs with a specific fighter. This milestone is repeatable for every character.
    • Reward: 1000 Gold, "Master of [Fighter Name]" Spirit.
    • Strategy: Set up a 1-stock Stamina Battle against a Level 1 CPU on a small stage like Battlefield. Use your strongest KO moves repeatedly.
  • Land 5 Final Smashes with [Fighter Name]: Successfully connect with 5 Final Smashes using a particular fighter.
    • Reward: 750 Gold, "Final Smash Enthusiast" Spirit.
    • Strategy: In Training Mode, set the CPU to stand still and turn on the "Final Smash Meter" item. Practice landing the Final Smash. Alternatively, play Smash with the "Smash Ball" item set to High frequency.

Game Mode Milestones

These milestones focus on engaging with the various game modes Super Smash Bros. has to offer, from the single-player adventures to competitive online play.

  • Clear Classic Mode with All Fighters: Complete Classic Mode with every character, regardless of difficulty.
    • Reward: 1500 Gold, "Classic Conqueror" Spirit, and an exclusive Mii Fighter Hat: "Classic Helmet".
    • Strategy: Start on Easy difficulty to quickly clear it with less familiar characters. As you get more comfortable, try higher difficulties for better rewards within Classic Mode itself.
  • Complete World of Light (Normal Difficulty): Finish the main story of World of Light on Normal difficulty or higher.
    • Reward: 2000 Gold, "Galeem & Dharkon" Spirit, and the "World of Light" Music Track.
    • Strategy: Focus on building a strong Spirit team. Prioritize Spirits that boost attack, defense, or provide useful immunities for specific battles. level up your primary Spirits!
  • Win 10 Online Matches: Achieve 10 victories in any online game mode (Quick Play, Battle Arenas, etc.).
    • Reward: 1000 Gold, "Online Warrior" Spirit.
    • Strategy: Experiment with different fighters to find one that suits your online playstyle. Focus on defensive play and punishing opponents' mistakes.
  • Participate in 50 Spirit Board Battles: Engage in 50 battles on the Spirit Board.
    • Reward: 800 Gold, "Spirit Hunter" Spirit.
    • Strategy: Regularly check the Spirit Board for new challenges. Even if you don't need the Spirit, participating still counts towards the milestone.

Collection & Miscellaneous Milestones

These milestones involve collecting items, exploring menus, or performing specific actions that don't fit neatly into other categories.

  • Collect 100 Unique Spirits: Obtain 100 different Spirits through World of Light, Spirit Board, or the Shop.
    • Reward: 1200 Gold, "Spirit Collector" Spirit.
    • Strategy: Prioritize exploring every corner of the World of Light map and frequently checking the Spirit Board. purchase any new Spirits that appear in the Vault's Shop.
  • Unlock All Stages: Discover and unlock every playable stage in the game.
    • Reward: 1000 Gold, "Stage Master" Spirit, and the "Final Destination (Smash Bros. Ultimate)" Music Track.
    • Strategy: Most stages are unlocked by playing through World of Light or by completing specific Classic Mode routes. Refer to a dedicated Stage Unlock Guide for precise details.
  • Spend 10,000 Gold in the Shop: Accumulate a total of 10,000 Gold spent in any in-game shop (Vault, Spirit Board Dojo, etc.).
    • Reward: 700 Gold, "Savvy Shopper" Spirit.
    • Strategy: This milestone will naturally be completed as you purchase Spirits, Mii Fighter costumes, and music tracks. Don't hold back on buying items you need!
  • View All Tips: Access and scroll through every available tip in the "Tips" section of the Vault.
    • Reward: 500 Gold, "Knowledge Seeker" Spirit.
    • Strategy: Simply navigate to the Vault, select "Tips," and scroll through each category until all new tip notifications are gone.
