Special & Disruptive Items
  • Poké Ball: Throws a Poké Ball, releasing a random Pokémon that will attack opponents. The Pokémon's abilities vary greatly.
  • Capsule: A throwable container that explodes on impact, dealing damage.
  • Crate/Barrel: Breakable containers that can be picked up and thrown. They often contain other items.
  • Flipper: Creates a flipper on the stage that launches anyone who touches it. Can be used for recovery or to disrupt opponents.
  • Fan: A melee weapon that deals very little damage but has high hitstun, allowing for easy follow-ups.
  • Super Scope: A chargeable projectile weapon that fires multiple shots. Can be charged for a powerful blast.

Poké Balls are highly unpredictable but can be incredibly powerful; always try to grab them. Capsules, Crates, and Barrels are versatile for throwing or breaking for other items. The Flipper can be a nuisance or a strategic tool, depending on placement. The Fan is excellent for setting up combos due to its high hitstun. The Super Scope is a great ranged option. Remember that many items can be caught or reflected, so be mindful of your opponent's capabilities when using them.
