The four main Relic Abilities – Gust Dash, Ground Pound, Hydro-Blast, and Light Barrier – are the cornerstone of your Waverider's combat and traversal toolkit. Each relic can be upgraded multiple times using 'Spirit Shards' obtained from Spirit Trials and the Wandering Merchant. Upgrades typically enhance damage, reduce cooldowns, increase area of effect, or add secondary effects. For example, upgrading Gust Dash might increase its range or allow for multiple dashes in quick succession. Prioritize upgrades based on your playstyle. If you prefer aggressive combat, focus on Hydro-Blast and Ground Pound. If you favor defensive play and evasion, Light Barrier and Gust Dash upgrades are more beneficial.
