Key Items & Quest Items
Navigating the shifting sands and ancient ruins of Sword of the Sea requires more than just skill with your sand-skiff. Many of the game's most crucial advancements and story beats are tied to specific Key Items and Quest Items. This section will guide you through their locations, uses, and the quests they are associated with, ensuring you never miss a vital piece of the puzzle.
Core Progression Items
These items are essential for advancing the main storyline and unlocking new areas or abilities. Prioritize their acquisition!

- Location: Found within the heart of the Sunken Citadel, guarded by the Ancient Construct.
- Associated Quest: "Echoes of the Sunken Past"

- Whispering Compass:
- Location: Gifted by the Elder of the Oasis after completing the "Thirsting Sands" quest.
