Its weakness lies in its glowing head crest, which is only vulnerable after it performs a large-scale attack. The strategy is to maintain constant movement, utilizing your Hydro-Boost to dodge its charges and sonic blasts. When it coils up to unleash a massive whirlpool, its head crest will glow intensely. This is your window of opportunity. Boost towards its head and unleash your basic attacks. You may need to repeat this several times, avoiding its retaliatory strikes. Once defeated, the Tidal Serpent will dissipate, revealing the Water Relic, granting you the 'Hydro-Blast' ability for powerful ranged attacks.
