Tales of Arise features a diverse cast of characters, each with unique combat styles, personalities, and roles within the party. Understanding these characters and how they synergize is key to overcoming the game's challenges and experiencing its rich narrative. From the determined protagonist Alphen to the enigmatic Dohalim, every party member brings something special to the table.

Alphen: The main protagonist, a swordsman with amnesia who wields a burning blade. He is a frontline damage dealer, excelling in fast-paced melee combat. His unique ability allows him to manifest a flaming sword, dealing sificant damage, especially against enemies weak to fire.

Shionne: A mysterious woman from Rena who wields firearms and healing magic. She serves as the party's primary healer and ranged attacker, capable of dealing consistent damage from a distance and supporting the team with vital restorative abilities.

Rinwell: A young Dahnan mage who can absorb and redirect enemy magic. She is a powerful spellcaster, capable of dealing high elemental damage and disrupting enemy casting. Her ability to steal enemy spells makes her invaluable against magic-reliant foes.

Law: A young man with a strong sense of justice, wielding a powerful hammer. He is a heavy-hitting melee fighter, specializing in breaking enemy defenses and dealing massive physical damage. His Boost Attack is excellent for staggering larger enemies.

Kisara: A stoic warrior and the captain of the Nevira Guard, using a greatsword and shield. She excels at defense and crowd control, able to tank hits and disrupt enemy formations with her powerful, sweeping attacks and defensive stance.

Dohalim: The enigmatic Lord of Lenegis, who wields a spear and commands spirits. He is a versatile fighter, capable of both ranged and melee combat, with unique abilities that can control the battlefield and debuff enemies.
