Congratulations, you've completed Tales of Arise! But the journey doesn't have to end there. The game offers a robust New Game+ feature and a challenging endgame experience to keep you engaged. This section will guide you through maximizing your subsequent playthroughs and conquering the toughest post-game content.

Starting New Game+

After viewing the credits and saving your clear data, return to the title screen. Select "New Game" and you'll be prompted to choose your clear save file. This initiates New Game+, allowing you to carry over various elements from your previous playthrough. The specific items and progress you can transfer depend on the "Artifacts" you've acquired.

New Game+ Carry-Over Options (via Artifacts)

The core of New Game+ customization lies in the Artifacts you've collected. Each Artifact grants a specific carry-over bonus. To activate these, you must have obtained the corresponding Artifact in your previous playthrough. You can choose which bonuses to enable at the start of your New Game+.

Level and Stats: Carry over your characters' levels and accumulated stats. Essential for tackling higher difficulties or speeding through early game.
Skills and Artes: Retain all learned skills, Artes, and Mystic Artes. This allows for immediate access to powerful combat options.
Equipment: Keep all weapons, armor, and accessories. This includes rare and powerful gear, giving you a significant advantage.
Items: Transfer all consumable items, crafting materials, and ingredients. Useful for maintaining a strong inventory from the start.
Gald: Carry over your accumulated Gald. Perfect for purchasing expensive gear or unlocking new features early on.
Owl Rewards: Retain all cosmetic and gameplay rewards earned from finding the various Owls.

Strategy Tip: For a truly challenging New Game+, consider carrying over only essential items or none at all, and increase the difficulty. For a power fantasy, carry over everything and dominate early game content!

Endgame Content: Post-Game Challenges

Even after defeating the final boss, there's plenty to do in Dahna. The endgame primarily revolves around challenging powerful optional bosses, completing remaining side quests, and exploring hidden areas.

The "Another Hillside Anomaly" Quest Chain

This is the primary post-game questline that unlocks the most challenging content. To begin:

Return to Viscint: After completing the main story, travel back to Viscint in Menancia.
Speak to the Innkeeper: The Innkeeper in Viscint will have a new sub-quest available titled "Another Hillside Anomaly." Accept this quest.
Investigate the Anomaly: Follow the quest markers to the various locations. You'll be directed to investigate strange energy readings across Dahna. This will lead you to several powerful Gigant Zeugles that are significantly stronger than anything encountered in the main story.
The Reminiscence Device: Progressing through "Another Hillside Anomaly" will eventually lead you to the "Reminiscence Device." This device, located in the Uninhabited Island (accessed via a ship from Tuah Beach), allows you to re-challenge boss battles from the main story, but with significantly increased difficulty and new attack patterns. Defeating these enhanced bosses rewards you with rare materials and powerful accessories.

Optional Super Bosses

Beyond the Reminiscence Device, there are a few truly formidable optional bosses that will test your party to its limits. These often require meticulous preparation, optimal gear, and a deep understanding of combat mechanics.

Vesper Core: This boss is found in a hidden area accessible after completing a specific series of side quests. It's one of the toughest challenges in the game, requiring high-level characters and strategic use of Boost Attacks and Mystic Artes.
The Ultimate Gigant Zeugle: Located in a secret dungeon, this creature boasts immense health and devastating attacks. Prepare for a prolonged battle and ensure your party is equipped with the best available gear and healing items.

Maximizing Your Party for Endgame

To conquer the endgame, focus on these areas:

Level Grinding: Aim for Level 90+ for your main party. The Reminiscence Device and optional super bosses will be extremely difficult below this threshold. The best grinding spots are often areas with high-level Gigant Zeugles or the later stages of the Reminiscence Device.
Best-in-Slot Equipment: Craft the strongest weapons and armor available. This often involves gathering rare materials from Gigant Zeugles and the Reminiscence Device. enhance your accessories with powerful effects.
- Weapons: Look for the "Realm" series of weapons, crafted from materials dropped by the Reminiscence Device bosses.
- Armor: The "Mystic" series of armor offers excellent defensive stats and elemental resistances.
- Accessories: Prioritize accessories that boost critical hit rate, elemental damage, or provide significant stat increases. The Mystic Crest (found in the Reminiscence Device) is a must-have for spellcasters.
Skill Panel Completion: Unlock all available skills on each character's skill panel. This provides crucial stat boosts and combat advantages.
