Class 4 Administrative Zones
Welcome to the Class 4 Administrative Zones, a critical area in your journey through Tales of Berseria. This section will guide you through its treacherous paths, help you locate valuable items, and overcome the challenges within.
Navigating the Administrative Zones
Upon entering the Class 4 Administrative Zones, your primary objective is to locate the control room to progress. The area is a maze of corridors and guarded checkpoints. Be prepared for frequent encounters with Abbey soldiers and various malakhim.
Follow these steps to navigate efficiently:
- Initial Entry: From the entrance, proceed straight down the main corridor. You'll encounter your first group of Abbey soldiers. Engage them to clear the path.
- First Junction: At the first major junction, take the path leading to the right. This path is less guarded initially and leads to a small storage area.
- Storage Area Diversion: In the storage area, you'll find a chest containing a Life Bottle. This is a crucial item for tougher battles, so don't miss it. After collecting the item, backtrack to the first junction.
- Main Path Continuation: Now, take the left path from the first junction. This is the more direct route towards the control room, but it will be heavily patrolled.
- Second Junction & Security Checkpoint: You'll soon reach another junction with a visible security checkpoint ahead. Engage the guards here. After clearing them, head straight through the checkpoint.
- Side Corridor Exploration: Immediately after the checkpoint, look for a small corridor branching off to your left. This hidden path leads to a dead end with a chest containing a valuable piece of equipment: the Warrior's Ventite. This accessory provides a significant boost to your physical attack, making it ideal for Velvet or Rokurou.
- Reaching the Control Room: Return to the main corridor and continue forward. You'll eventually reach a larger, open area that serves as the main control room.
Control Room Objectives & Strategies
Once inside the control room, your goal is to interact with the central console. However, it won't be that simple.
- Initial Engagement: The control room is guarded by a formidable group of elite Abbey soldiers, including a powerful Armored Sentinel. Focus your attacks on the Sentinel first, as its high defense can be a nuisance if left unchecked. Use Artes that exploit its elemental weaknesses (often Earth or Wind, depending on the specific variant).
- Utilizing the Environment: The control room has several consoles and terminals. While most are decorative, some can be used to briefly stun or disorient enemies if you lure them close enough and interact with them during battle. This is a risky but potentially rewarding strategy.
- Item Scavenging: After defeating the initial wave of enemies, thoroughly search the control room. There's a hidden chest behind one of the larger consoles on the far side of the room, containing a Panacea Bottle. This item is invaluable for curing status ailments.
- Activating the Console: Once the room is clear, approach the central console. A short cutscene will trigger, and you'll be prompted to interact with it to proceed with the story.
Enemy Encounters and Tips
The Class 4 Administrative Zones are crawling with various enemies. Here's what to expect and how to handle them:
- Abbey Soldiers: These are your standard human enemies. They come in various forms (swordsmen, archers, mages). Prioritize mages and archers to prevent them from casting disruptive spells or dealing ranged damage.
- Malakhim Sentinels: These larger, armored enemies have high defense and can deal significant damage. Break their guard with powerful Martial Artes or focus on their elemental weaknesses.
- Code Red Daemon: Keep an eye out for a potential Code Red Daemon lurking in one of the less-traveled side corridors before the control room. This optional boss fight can yield excellent rewards, such as the Soul Orb (Large), which significantly boosts a character's stats. Be prepared for a tough battle if you decide to engage it.
Remember to utilize your party's various Artes and Soul Break abilities to manage crowds and take down tougher foes efficiently. check your equipment and heal up between battles!
