To secure passage on the Van Eltia, you'll need to speak with its captain, Aifread. However, he's not easily found. You'll need to follow a series of clues, which will lead you through various parts of Loegres, including the back alleys and the port district. You might encounter some Abbey soldiers who will initiate combat. These fights are generally straightforward, but they serve as good practice for your new party members. Eventually, you'll locate Aifread and convince him to take you on board. This marks a significant turning point in the story, as you gain access to the world map and the ability to travel between continents. Before setting sail, make sure you've completed any immediate objectives in Loegres.
