Weapons and armor are your primary means of boosting character stats and acquiring new skills. Each character has specific weapon types they can equip (e.g., Velvet uses gauntlets, Rokurou uses swords). Armor includes body armor, headgear, and accessories. When choosing equipment, don't just look at the raw Attack or Defense stats. Pay close attention to the 'Skills' each item possesses. By fighting battles with an equipped item, you can 'master' its skills, permanently adding them to your character's skill list. This encourages you to constantly upgrade and rotate your gear. Higher rarity equipment often comes with more powerful skills. You can acquire equipment from shops, treasure chests, enemy drops, and as rewards for quests.
