Character-Specific Weapon Types

Each character is restricted to specific weapon categories, ensuring a diverse combat experience and strategic equipment choices. Equipping the correct weapon type is fundamental:

• Material Blade (Lloyd): This legendary sword is pivotal to Lloyd's character arc and is required to learn his most powerful Tech. It's obtained during a side quest involving the Sword Dancer. To acquire it, you must defeat the Sword Dancer three times in specific locations:
  1. First Encounter: Palmacosta Human Ranch (after the first visit).
  2. Second Encounter: Gaoracchia Forest (after the events at the Tower of Mana).
  3. Third Encounter: Iselia Forest (after the events at the Remote Island Human Ranch).
  Defeating him the third time rewards you with the Material Blade.
• Nebilim (Lloyd): A cursed sword of immense power, but it comes with a significant drawback. It's part of a challenging side quest involving the "Devil's Arms." Collecting all Devil's Arms and then defeating the final boss of the quest will unlock their true power.
• Sacred Shine (Kratos/Zelos): A powerful holy sword often associated with the Chosen. It boasts high attack power and a Light elemental attribute, making it excellent against Dark-aligned foes. Typically found in later-game dungeons or purchased in advanced shops.
• Excalibur (Kratos/Zelos): Another legendary sword, often acquired through a side quest or as a rare drop from a powerful enemy. It usually has very high attack power.
• Dynast (Colette): Colette's ultimate chakram, offering incredible attack power. It's often a reward for completing a challenging side quest or defeating a secret boss.
• Derelict (Genis/Raine): A powerful staff for your magic users, significantly boosting their elemental attack power.

Weapons can be acquired through several means:
