From Dirk's House, travel south-east across the world map to reach the desert town of Triet. Upon arrival, explore the town thoroughly. Visit the Weapon Shop to upgrade your party's gear, the Item Shop to stock up on healing items and status cures, and the Inn to rest and recover HP/TP. Speak to the townspeople for rumors and information about the surrounding area. You'll learn about the nearby Triet Ruins and the dangers within. This is also where you'll encounter a new character, Kratos Aurion, who will join your party. His presence significantly boosts your combat capabilities.
