Boss battles in Tales of the Abyss are challenging encounters that test your party's strategy, equipment, and understanding of the combat system. This section provides detailed strategies for overcoming every major boss, including their weaknesses, attack patterns, and recommended party setups.

Before each boss fight, ensure your party's HP and TP are full, and stock up on healing items. Check your equipment for elemental resistances or weaknesses that might be relevant to the boss. Customize your AI strategies to prioritize healing, target specific enemies, or use certain Artes. Pay close attention to the boss's attack tells and learn to guard or Free Run to avoid damage. Exploiting elemental weaknesses with Fonic Artes and using FoF Changes can significantly shorten battles. Don't be afraid to use Over Limit and Mystic Artes when the opportunity arises.
