The Monster Collector side quest involves finding and defeating specific rare monsters scattered across the world of Auldrant. This quest is initiated by speaking to the Monster Collector NPC, who can typically be found in various towns throughout the game (e.g., first in Engeve, then Kaitzur, then Grand Chokmah). He will give you hints about the locations of these unique, often powerful, enemies. Each monster has a distinct appearance and is usually much stronger than regular encounters in the area. Defeating them often yields rare materials, high-value Gald, and sometimes unique equipment or accessories.
