Fell Arms Quest Walkthrough

The Fell Arms are a set of powerful, cursed weapons that can be acquired throughout your journey in Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition. Each Fell Arm grows stronger as it absorbs the life force of defeated enemies, eventually unlocking devastating abilities. The quest to collect and empower them is a significant undertaking.

The Fell Arms are tied to the character of Flynn Scifo and his quest to understand the nature of these weapons. Collecting them often involves defeating specific enemies or exploring hidden areas.

Sword of the Reaper (Yuri): Acquired during the main story in Deidon Hold. Its power increases by defeating enemies.
Glaive of the Reaper (Estelle): Found in the Mausoleum of the Great Mage. Its power increases by defeating enemies.
Spear of the Reaper (Karol): Located in the Tarqaron. Its power increases by defeating enemies.
Bow of the Reaper (Rita): Found in the Eastern Sea. Its power increases by defeating enemies.
Dagger of the Reaper (Raven): Located in the Outer Labyrinth. Its power increases by defeating enemies.
Axe of the Reaper (Judith): Found in the Eastern Sea. Its power increases by defeating enemies.
Scythe of the Reaper (Repede): Acquired during the main story in Zaphias. Its power increases by defeating enemies.
Hammer of the Reaper (Badeaux): This is a special case and is not a traditional Fell Arm. It is obtained through a side quest.

To fully unlock the potential of each Fell Arm, you must defeat a specific number of enemies with the character wielding the arm. For example, Yuri's Sword of the Reaper requires defeating 100 enemies to reach its first power-up stage, and progressively more for subsequent stages. Once a Fell Arm reaches its maximum power, it will unlock a unique and potent Mystic Arte for the wielder. These Mystic Artes are incredibly powerful and can turn the tide of difficult battles. Keep track of your kill counts for each character to ensure you are progressing their respective Fell Arms effectively.
