Magistrate's Palace
Upon entering the Magistrate's Palace, you'll find yourself in a grand, albeit somewhat unsettling, environment. This area serves as a crucial point in your early journey, introducing you to new mechanics and story beats. Be prepared for some light exploration and a few encounters.
Ground Floor Exploration
As you step inside, you'll be in the main entrance hall. Take a moment to observe your surroundings. There isn't much to interact with immediately, but it's good to get a feel for the layout.
- First Room: Head straight from the entrance. You'll find a door leading further into the palace.
- Stairs: To your right, there's a staircase leading up. We'll be heading there shortly, but first, let's secure some ground-level items.
Upper Floor and Item Collection
Ascend the stairs to the upper floor. This area is more expansive and holds several valuable items that will aid you in your adventures.
- First Room (Upper Floor): As you reach the top of the stairs, enter the first room you see.
- Item: Look for a chest containing a Life Bottle. This is a crucial recovery item, so grab it.
- Second Room (Upper Floor): Proceed to the next room on this floor.
- Item: Here, you'll discover a chest holding a Panacea Bottle. This item is invaluable for curing various status ailments.
- Third Room (Upper Floor): Continue your exploration to the final room on this level.
- Item: Inside, you'll find a chest containing a Magic Lens. These are excellent for revealing enemy stats and weaknesses during battle.
Advancing Through the Palace
After collecting all the items on the upper floor, descend back to the ground floor. Now, it's time to progress deeper into the Magistrate's Palace.
- Main Hall Exit: From the main entrance hall, proceed through the central door you initially spotted.
- Corridor: You'll enter a corridor. Follow it until you reach another door.
- Next Area: This door will lead you to the next significant section of the palace, where further events will unfold. Be prepared for potential cutscenes and character interactions as you move forward.
Remember to save your game periodically, especially after collecting valuable items or before entering new, unknown areas. The Magistrate's Palace, while not a dungeon in the traditional sense, sets the stage for important narrative developments.
