Sewer Tunnels

Welcome to the grimy underbelly of Zaphias! The Sewer Tunnels offer a linear path, but don't let that fool you; there are valuable items to find and a few monster encounters to navigate. Keep your party's HP and TP up, as you'll want to be ready for anything.

Initial Descent and First Treasures

  1. Upon entering the Sewer Tunnels, head straight down the initial path.
  2. You'll quickly come across a small alcove to your right. Inside, you'll find a chest containing a Life Bottle. This item is invaluable for reviving fallen allies, so grab it.
  3. Continue following the main path.

Navigating the Waterways

The sewers are, predictably, full of water. You'll encounter several low-level enemies here, primarily:

  • Goblin: Standard melee attackers. Easy to dispatch.
  • Bat: Flying enemies, can be annoying. Use aerial artes if you have them, or focus them down quickly.
  • Fungus: Often appear in groups. They can inflict status effects, so be wary.

Strategy Tip: Engage enemies to gain experience and learn new skills. Don't shy away from battles, but conserve your TP for healing if needed.

Hidden Paths and Essential Items

  1. As you proceed, you'll notice a small, almost hidden path leading off to the left. Take this path.
  2. At the end of this short diversion, you'll discover another chest. Open it to receive a Magic Lens. These are crucial for scanning new enemies to reveal their stats and weaknesses. Always use one on a new enemy type!
  3. Return to the main path and continue onward.
  4. The path will eventually open up into a slightly wider area. Look for a chest tucked away near a wall on the right side. This chest holds a Panacea Bottle, an excellent item for curing all status ailments.

Reaching the Exit

  1. From the location of the Panacea Bottle, continue following the only available path.
  2. You'll soon reach a ladder leading upwards. This is your exit from the Sewer Tunnels.
  3. Climb the ladder to proceed to the next area.

Before you leave, ensure your party is healed and ready. While the sewers themselves aren't overly challenging, it's always good practice to be prepared for what lies ahead.
